www.exhibits.pacsci.org/nutrition - an interactive nutrition website for kids from the US-based Pacific Science Center which aims to bring science and children together. Funded by donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

www.dfes.gov.uk/schoollunches - a school lunch website from the Department for Education and Skills.

www.foodforum.org.uk - a food education service, funded by the food industry, providing information, ideas and guidance on food for teachers and parents.

www.heartsavers.org/CurriculumList.htm - heart health information, games and curriculum activities for students from US hospitals, clinics and universities.

www.hdra.org.uk/schools_organic_network/index.htm - organic gardening information and resources for schools from HDRA - The Organic Organisation.

www.j-sainsbury.co.uk/tasteofsuccess - a scheme run by Sainsbury's supermarket in conjunction with the British Nutrition Foundation and Design and Technology Association involving a food award scheme for pupils aged 9-14 years and web based food information which provides seven product case studies highlighting different aspects of food technology, nutrition, food safety and food labelling. The latest case study for both primary and secondary pupils features English apples and a fresh fruit salad.

www.waitrose.com/foodexplorers - an education initiative by the supermarket, Waitrose, that aims to promote and enhance the way primary school children learn about food, in particular fruit and vegetables. Teacher's notes and materials available on the website.
