East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Services
A Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) is a local membership organisation which supports its members by providing them with a range of services and by acting as a voice for the local voluntary and community sector.
A CVS helps to support, promote and develop local voluntary and community action through five key functions: Service and Support; Liaison; Representation; Development Work and Strategic partnerships.
ECCVS aim:
'To help increase the capabilities of local communities in east Cornwall, by identifying community issues, needs and problems and then working with local groups to develop relevant community solutions. The agency works to promote, develop and support those voluntary and community organisations and groups which are central to community life.'

Inter-Link is a network of community and voluntary groups, statutory agencies and individuals working together to improve the lives of people in Cornwall.
Inter-Link's can offer:
The opportunity to attend local meetings where you can meet others, share ideas and get local information.
Regular notes and newsletters informing you of events, news from other groups, information about funding opportunities and much more.
Use of the newsletters or the website to publicise what your group is doing, events that you are holding, or particular contacts that you would like to make.

West Cornwall Community Network

West Cornwall Community Network (WCCN) is the collective name given to all voluntary organisations and community groups working in the Penwith and Kerrier Districts. It includes any organisation or group which provides services to communities, from the smallest local playgroup to largest registered charity. Members of the WCCN meet as a whole twice a year at conferences and monthly at local Interlink meetings to share information and promote the interests of communities and the voluntary/community sector. Representatives of the WCCN are selected to sit on West Cornwall Together (WCT) and play a vital role in developing local services with their local council, government agency and private sector partners.

West Cornwall Healthy Living Centre
WCHLC is here to provide information about community health and well-being projects and activities within West Cornwall. It aims to improve access to community health projects and help individuals find the right support for their needs. It brings together health professionals, voluntary and community sector organisations and individuals to help improve health and well-being and reduce health inequality.
WCHLC works through 4 schemes:
Central Information and Support Service - providing a web based information resource and point of contact for individuals wishing to find out about community health in West Cornwall.
GP Recommendation Scheme (GP Plus) - for GPs and health professionals wanting to recommend patients to services or facilities provided by the community and voluntary sector.
Volunteer Recruitment Scheme - to recruit and support volunteers to sustain health related projects / organisations through volunteer placements.
Project Development and Support Scheme - to provide supporting services (including project planning, grant applications, finance, monitoring and evaluation) for health related projects in West Cornwall.
