Workplaces

The Workplace Initiative has been running successfully since 2003, during which time we have set up smoking cessation programmes in many employment settings right across the county. The list is long, and includes workplaces such as the NHS, Cornwall County Council, The Eden Project, the Samworth Group, Roach Foods (now Tulip), and St. Austell Brewery to name but a few.
The workplace offers considerable potential for long-term cessation, and for employers can bring many benefits ranging from reduced absenteeism and improved productivity, to increased job satisfaction and company loyalty.
