The SUsie Project is dedicated to providing support to survivors of Domestic Abuse. Helping to re-build shattered lives & recognizing their dreams.
The project works with survivors of domestic abuse who no longer live with their abuser. We offer various options to help survivors regain their self esteem and confidence
Drop In Support Group: These provide a safe, relaxed environment for women to meet weekly, to discuss their issues, gain support and friendship and to re-build their confidence and self esteem. The meetings are confidential and every 4 - 6 weeks we have guest speakers from external agencies. Groups currently run in all localities of Cornwall.
Recovery Toolkit: The Toolkit is a 12 week programme which looks at various topics including What is Abuse, Self Esteem, Effects of Abuse on Children, Anger & Conflict, Boundaries & Trust, Setting Goals and Healthy Relationships. It incorporates elements of CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy)
