About the Healthy Schools Small Grants

If you have an idea for starting or developing a project or piece of work towards becoming a healthy school, but need a small amount of money to get going, then a HS small grant of up to £250 may be just the thing.

It is intended to be a simple, straightforward way to get a small amount of money to make something healthy happen or get even better.

Applications are flooding in from schools around the county. We have had applications from teachers, governors, parents / carers and pupils.

We are also seeing some innovative and imaginative ideas.

We don’t want to make you jump through too many hoops to receive the award but we will ask you to provide a short case study about how the grant was spent and how it made a difference.

An application pack is now available to download and we are trying to make awards as soon as possible when we receive your request.

We are particularly interested in hearing about projects that may result in more parental / carer involvement in healthy schools.
